In July, having no pressing national or global issues to cover, the editors of Time magazine rolled up their sleeves and began tracking down answers to all sorts of questions about culture, science, human behavior, food, the arts, etc. The result is The Answers Issue: Your Guide to Everything You Didn’t Know You Need to Know — 53 pages of fascinating and entertaining infographics to make any trivia geek salivate. Although the editors explore a number of softball issues, they do not shy away from the really tough questions: the questions we thought had no answers. Here are some highlights:
