There’s a Word for That: Erlebnisse

atkins-bookshelf-wordsErlebnisse is a German word that means “experiences.” But we’re not talking about just any random experiences, like bumping into a friend at a coffee shop, or taking a selfie in front of a sunset. We’re talking about the really important experiences in your life — you know, the ones that impact you profoundly and shape you. For some people that experience is the death of a parent or sibling, their first meaningful relationship, the birth of a child and becoming a parent, surviving a medical crisis, or their first real job and mentor.
